Shaun Morgan – BSc (Hons) Geology
Director – Colombian Andes Project
An earth scientist and keen environmentalist; Shaun created the United Kingdom based A.B.C (Abiotic, Biotic & Cultural) Tourism Foundation in 2017. This non-profit organisation is involved in sustainable development projects in vulnerable destinations around the world.
A resident of the Colombian Andean region since 2013, Shaun has a keen interest in protecting the resources of his adopted homeland. This motivated him to make the ‘Colombian Andes Project’ his first major initiative through the ABC foundation.
A University of Aberdeen Alumni, Shaun graduated with a degree in geology and has worked for several geological service companies around the world. He also has a keen interest in travel writing and is an editor for the Travel Mono news and review website.
Translator and Administrator for the Colombian Andes Project. Angela is a Colombian native and has been a resident of the Risaralda department her whole life. A graduate from the University of Pereira.
The Advisory Board
The advisory board is an advisory panel of specialists. They work on voluntary basis to provide the nonprofit with an important strategic framework. In the event of an operational or project based challenge, the advisory board members can be consulted for professional advice.
